The value of Energy Services Company (ESCO) contracts have been well documented after 30+ years of deployments. Until recently, renewable energy has been too expensive with long paybacks which did not line up with traditional energy conservation measures. However, the recent reduction in cost combined with technological performance advancements makes renewable energy, such as solar PV, desirable in ESCO contracts.
